Campestre (Ciudad Juárez)
Campestre is a colonia (neighborhood) in the city of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, which borders the Rio Grande. Historically, it was a country club area of the city. Drug violence forced many people to flee the area. By 2010 many "for rent" and "for sale" signs were seen in the neighborhood. Colonia (Mexico)
In general, colonias () are neighborhoods in Mexican cities, which have no jurisdictional autonomy or representation. Ciudad Juárez ( ; ''Juarez City''. ) is the most populous city in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. It is commonly referred to as Juárez and was known as El Paso del Norte (''The Pass of the North'') until 1888. Country Club
