Camora (footballer)
Mário Jorge Malico Paulino (born 10 November 1986), known as Camora, is a professional footballer who plays for and captains Liga I club CFR Cluj as a left-back. He spent most of his professional career at CFR Cluj in Romania, with which he won nine domestic throphies since signing in 2011. Previously, he totalled 66 matches in the Primeira Liga over four seasons, 64 of those with Naval. Born in Portugal, Camora acquired Romanian citizenship in 2020 and began representing the national team later that year. Club career Portugal Camora was born in Samora Correia, Benavente, Santarém District. After beginning in amateur football, in January 2006 he signed with S.C. Beira-Mar in the second division. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. Ricardo Manuel Ferreira Sousa (born 21 December 1981), known as Cadú, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a central defender currently assistant manager of Primeira Liga club Paços de Ferreira. 2011–12 Liga I
The 2011–12 Liga I was the ninety-fourth season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. It began on 22 July 2011 and ended on 19 May 2012. The defending champions are Oțelul Galați. Since Romania dropped from eighth to fourteenth place in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2010–11 season, the league has lost its UEFA Europa League playoff round berth. Further, the champions will not directly be entered into the group stage of the UEFA Champions League any more, but rather have to begin in the third qualification round.
