Camilo Ynitia
Camilo Ynitia (alternative spelling "Camillo"; original native name transliterated as "Hueñux") was born in 1803, in Marin County, southern Marin, of the Huiman tribe near Sausalito. They likely traveled up to Olompali, where his father had built an adobe brick home. Camilo was a notable leader of the Coast Miwok, a Native American people. Camilo was known as the last ''Hoipu'' (headman) of the Miwok community living at Olompali and the Coast Miwoks of the Southern Marin Band.Seif, 2006. Hopland (formerly Sanel) is a census-designated place in Mendocino County, California, United States. Rancho Sanel
Rancho Sanel was a Mexican land grant in present-day Mendocino County, California, given in 1844 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena to Fernando Feliz (or Felix). The grant extended along the Russian River and encompassed present-day Hopland. It is named after a village of the Pomo people near Hopland; the name means sweat-house in the Pomo language. Joaquín De La Torre
Rancho Arroyo Seco was a Mexican land grant in the Salinas Valley, in present-day Monterey County, California. It was given in 1840 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to Joaquín de la Torre. The grant extended along the west bank of the Salinas River at Arroyo Seco Creek, and encompassed present-day Greenfield. History José Joaquín de la Torre was a soldier who was alcalde in Monterey, and afterwards secretary to Governor Pablo Vicente de Solá. Torre married Maria Los Angeles Cota (1790–1877) in 1803. Torre was granted the two square league Rancho Bolsa del Potrero y Moro Cojo in 1822 by Governor Sola, and the four square league Rancho Arroyo Seco in 1840 by Governor Alvarado.
