Camilla Stoltenberg
Camilla Stoltenberg (born 5 February 1958) is a Norwegian physician and researcher. Since 13 August 2012, she has been Director-General of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. She is the sister of former Prime Minister of Norway and General Secretary of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg. Early life and education Stoltenberg attended Oslo Waldorf School and studied sociology and medicine at the University of Oslo, where she graduated with the cand.med. degree. She later obtained a research doctorate (dr.med.) at the same university. She has also studied medical anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley. Career Stoltenberg began her career with an internship in the Helgeland region before working as a registrar at Rikshospitalet University Hospital, and later in casualty departments in both Aurskog-Høland and Oslo. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) (Norwegian: ''Folkehelseinstituttet''; FHI) is a Norwegian government agency and research institute, and is Norway's national public health institute. It is subordinate to the Ministry of Health and Care Services. Jon Sudbø
Jon Sudbø (born 3 May 1961) is a Norwegian dentist, physician, and former medical researcher, who was exposed as a scientific fraudster in 2006. Over a period of several years, he fabricated results in the field of oncology which he published in leading medical journals. The article that led to his downfall, which was published in '' The Lancet'', was based on 900 patients Sudbø had fabricated entirely. The editor of ''The Lancet'' described this as the biggest scientific fraud conducted by a single researcher ever. Sudbø graduated from the University of Oslo faculty of dentistry in 1989 and the faculty of medicine in 1994, both top of his class. Sudbø was formerly employed as a consultant oncologist at the Radium Hospital in Oslo and as an associate professor at the University of Oslo, but as a result of the fabrication scandal, he resigned from these positions in 2006. Nini Stoltenberg (11 February 1963 – 27 July 2014) was a Norwegian television personality and sister of Jens Stoltenberg, former prime minister of Norway, and Camilla Stoltenberg, the director-general of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. She was, however, better known as a drug addict, and has been cited as such by Norwegian media on numerous occasions. She has often been depicted as an unofficial spokesperson for Norwegian drug users. Stoltenberg was part of a 12-member group of expert advisers on drug policies for the second cabinet Bondevik (2001–2005). Karin Stoltenberg (née Heiberg; 23 November 1931 – 17 October 2012) was a Norwegian geneticist, politician and public official noted for her efforts to develop a coherent family policy in Norway, feminist activities, and for being the mother of prime minister Jens Stoltenberg, and wife of foreign minister Thorvald Stoltenberg. Thorvald Stoltenberg
Thorvald Stoltenberg (8 July 1931 – 13 July 2018) was a Norwegian politician and diplomat. He served as Minister of Defence from 1979 to 1981 and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1987 to 1989 and again from 1990 to 1993 in two Labour governments. From 1989 to 1990 he served as the Norwegian ambassador to the UN. In 1990, he became the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees but served only one year before he rejoined the Norwegian government.
