2004 FIFA Futsal World Championship
The 2004 FIFA Futsal World Championship was the fifth FIFA Futsal World Championship, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It was held between 21 November and 5 December 2004 in Taiwan (Designated as Chinese Taipei under FIFA). It was the first FIFA tournament held in the country and was the last to feature 16 teams. Spain won their second successive title, defeating Italy in the final. The 2024 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations will be the 7th edition of the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, the quadrennial international futsal championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the men's national teams of Africa. The tournament will held in Mozambique. Same as previous editions, the tournament acted as the CAF qualifiers for the FIFA Futsal World Cup (except for 2012 when a separate qualifying tournament was organized as the 2011 African Futsal Championship was cancelled). The 2020 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations was the 6th edition of the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, the quadrennial international futsal championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the men's national teams of Africa. The tournament was held in Morocco between 28 January – 7 February 2020 (original dates were 17–26 April 2020). Same as previous editions, the tournament acted as the CAF qualifiers for the FIFA Futsal World Cup (except for 2012 when a separate qualifying tournament was organized as the 2011 African Futsal Championship was cancelled). The 2016 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations was the 5th edition of the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, the quadrennial international futsal championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the men's national teams of Africa. 2011 African Futsal Championship
The 2011 African Futsal Championship was the 4th edition of this tournament which took place on 3–17 April 2011 in Burkina Faso, but the tournament was ultimately cancelled. Qualified nations Burkina Faso was an automatic qualifier as the host country. Libya also received an automatic berth for winning the previous edition. Draw The draw was scheduled to take place on 9 October 2010 but was postponed till further notice. The Confederation of African Football announced that the 2011 Futsal Championship has been cancelled. Burkina Faso withdrew from hosting the event which was meant to start at the beginning of April and a replacement could not be found therefore the championship wasn't held. The 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the ninth edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
