Cameron Thompson (footballer)
Cameron Randy Thompson (born 21 February 2000) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for club Cray Wanderers. He began his football career with Fulham, and played for their under-21 team in the EFL Trophy, before turning professional with Barnsley in late 2020. He made his Football League debut during the 2021–22 season, and spent time on loan at National League North club Darlington. He joined Torquay United on non-contract terms in October 2022, before going on to join National League South club Dulwich Hamlet in January 2023. Career Thompson was born in Lambeth, London, in 2000. and joined Fulham F.C. Academy in 2011 as an 11-year-old. The English Schools' Football Association was founded in 1904 and is the governing body of schools' football in England. It is responsible for the running and development of schools competitions and festivals at primary and secondary school age. The ESFA headquarters is in Stafford. The Football Association (FA) works with ESFA to support high quality, coordinated inter school football competition programmes for all young people. The association run national competitions from under-11 to under-19 age groups. Gary Johnson (footballer, Born 1955)
Gary Stephen Johnson (born 28 September 1955) is a former football player and is currently manager at Torquay United. Johnson was formerly with Cambridge United, Kettering Town, Watford (as director of their youth academy), the Latvian national team, Yeovil Town in two spells, Bristol City, Peterborough United, Northampton Town and Cheltenham Town. His son Lee is the head coach of Hibernian. Playing career Johnson signed for Watford as an apprentice at sixteen and turned professional at the age of eighteen. He then left Vicarage Road and moved to play football in Sweden for Malmö FF. Jacob Christopher Lawlor (born 8 April 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Darlington. Lawlor played youth football for Manchester United, but was released at the age of 14, and subsequently played non-league football for Liversedge, Ossett Town and Harrogate Railway Athletic before joining Guiseley in 2013. He had a loan spell at AFC Fylde in 2018, before being released by Guiseley later that year and subsequently joining Salford City in July 2018. A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds.
