Cameron Knight
Cameron "Cam" Knight is an Australian comedian and television personality, born in Cummins, South Australia. Career He studied at the South Australian Centre for the Performing Arts before making his break into television as a member of the ''Big Bite'' sketch comedy show and then became a regular presenter on Foxtel's The Comedy Channel. His sister, Nikki Dwyer, is a former newsreader for Network Ten in Adelaide. In 2006, he became the host of the Australian made stand up TV show, ''Stand Up Australia'', shown 5 nights a week on The Comedy Channel. He has also hosted a variety of different shows on Foxtel, namely ''Chain Reaction'' on Fox 8, ''We'll Call You'' on The Comedy Channel and also the second series of ''Hit & Run'' on The Comedy Channel. In 2007, Knight was the host of the Australia heat of ''Last Comic Standing'' season 5 which aired on Fox8 and received an ASTRA Award nomination for Best Male Presenter in 2008. Katherine Langbroek (born 8 August 1965) is an Australian comedian, radio and television presenter. Langbroek has previously hosted ''Hughesy & Kate'' with Dave Hughes on the HIT Network. Cummins, South Australia
Cummins is a town on Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, 67 km north of Port Lincoln and 60 m above sea level. At the 2011 census, the town had a population of 719. Cummins was named after William Patrick Cummins, a member of the South Australian House of Assembly from 1896 to 1907. The town of Cummins was developed in 1910 a few years after the first settlers in the area arrived. The railway to Port Lincoln arrived in 1907. The bounded locality of Cummins includes the former railway sidings of Pillana (south of the town) and Wildeloo (north of it). The major industries are sheep farming and cereal grain growing. There was a junction of the narrow gauge Eyre Peninsula Railway within the town. The railway facilitated transfer of grain to the deep-water port at Port Lincoln, primarily for export till operation of the railway was discontinued on 21 May 2019. ''Summer 2007'' is a 2008 Indian drama film directed by the debutant Suhail Tatari. The film deals with five medical students who undergo a rude awakening of sorts after visiting a Maharashtrian village and witnessing the misfortune of villagers. The film stars Sikandar Kher, Gul Panag, Yuvika Chaudhary, Arjan Bajwa and Alekh Sangal. Plot Rahul (Sikandar Kher), Priyanka (Yuvika Chaudhary), Qateel ( Arjan Bajwa), Bagani (Alekh Sangal) and Vishaka (Gul Panag) are medical college students with carefree attitudes. ''Stand Up Australia'' was an Australian comedy TV program locally produced by The Comedy Channel from 2006 to 2008. It was hosted by Cameron Knight, and featured four Australian or international comedians on each one-hour show. Season two was produced in Melbourne, previously the first season was shot at Foxtel's Sydney studios located in North Ryde, where the set and studio was named "The Troubled Bison". The first season went for a marathon 95 episodes and showcased Australia's top comedic talent.
