Cameron Carter-Vickers
Cameron Robert Carter-Vickers (born December 31, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center-back for Scottish Premiership club Celtic and the United States national team. Carter-Vickers began his career at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy. He made his debut in the 2016–17 season, playing in cup competitions. He spent time out on loan at Championship clubs Sheffield United, Ipswich Town, Swansea City, Stoke City, Luton Town, and Bournemouth. After winning the Scottish Premiership and Scottish League Cup on loan, he joined Celtic in 2022. Club career Tottenham Hotspur Carter-Vickers joined the academy at Tottenham Hotspur at age 11, having caught the eyes of scouts as a 10-year-old playing in the youth teams at Catholic United. United States Men's National Under-20 Soccer Team
The United States U-20 men's national soccer team is controlled by the United States Soccer Federation. The highest level of competition in which the team competes is the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which is held every two years. The United States' best finish came in the 1989 FIFA World Youth Championship, when the U.S. beat Iraq in the quarterfinal before losing to Nigeria in overtime in the semifinal and Brazil in the third-place match. The 2016 International Champions Cup (or ICC) was a series of friendly association football tournaments that began on 22 July and ended on 13 August 2016. In December 2015, Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur and Melbourne Victory were confirmed to play in the Australian version of the tournament. Atlético Madrid were confirmed as the fourth team on 1 March. Melbourne Victory was the first team from the Asian Football Confederation to compete in the International Champions Cup.
