Calumet County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 52,442. The county seat is Chilton. The county was created in 1836 (then in the Wisconsin Territory) and organized in 1850. Calumet County is included in the Appleton, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the Appleton- Oshkosh-Neenah, WI Combined Statistical Area. The Holyland is partially located in southern Calumet County. Calumetville, Wisconsin
Calumetville is an unincorporated community that straddles the county line between Calumet and Fond du Lac counties in Wisconsin. The main part of the community in Fond du Lac County lies in the town of Calumet, and the part in Calumet County lies in the town of Brothertown. Calumetville is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 151 and County Highway HHH. Route 151 was once an old military road running from Fond du Lac to Green Bay. Lake Winnebago lies less than one mile to the west. Pipe lies to the south, and Brothertown is to the north. Local attractions Cedar Lodge is a very popular restaurant which draws customers from the surrounding area. Pipe, Wisconsin is an unincorporated community in the Town of Calumet in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located approximately east of Lake Winnebago. History On September 25, 1817, United States Army Judge Advocate Samuel A. Storrow traveled from Green Bay, Wisconsin to Chicago. He described a Native American village he saw: "...we saw it at a distance. It was a village of Fals Avoines ice gatherers situate on the edge of a prairie which borders Lake Winnebago. The Lake lay before it on one side, and on the other the prairie, rising with a gentle acclivity from the margin of the water. The spot was well chosen for beauty, warmth, and fertility. Marytown, Wisconsin is an unincorporated community in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, in the town of Calumet. Marytown is located at the intersection of Fond du Lac County highways G and HH. Wisconsin Highway 149 ran north to south through the community before it was decommissioned in 2006.
