Scottish Gaelic ( gd, Gàidhlig ), also known as Scots Gaelic and Gaelic, is a Goidelic language (in the Celtic branch of the Indo-European language family) native to the Gaels of Scotland. As a Goidelic language, Scottish Gaelic, as well as both Irish and Manx, developed out of Old Irish. It became a distinct spoken language sometime in the 13th century in the Middle Irish period, although a common literary language was shared by the Gaels of both Ireland and Scotland until well into the 17th century. Most of modern Scotland was once Gaelic-speaking, as evidenced especially by Gaelic-language place names. Callum Jason Noel Camps (born 30 November 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Stockport County. Born in England, he has represented Northern Ireland internationally at youth levels. Club career Rochdale Camps came through the Rochdale youth team to make his senior debut on 13 April 2013, replacing Ashley Grimes 68 minutes into a 2–2 draw with Port Vale at Spotland. Callum Charles John Driver (born 23 October 1992) is an English semi-professional footballer who last played as a defender for Leatherhead. Club career Driver was born in Sidcup, London. He joined as a youth team player for West Ham aged 12 and signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2011. Having been involved in several first-team squads with West Ham, in January 2012 he moved on loan to League Two club Burton Albion until 31 January 2012. Callum Joshua Davies (born 8 February 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Folkestone Invicta. Club career Gillingham Davies started his career as a trainee with Gillingham, having captained the youth team and made a number of appearances in the reserve team. Callum Davidson
Callum Iain Davidson (born 25 June 1976 in Stirling) is a Scottish professional football player and coach. He is the manager of St Johnstone. Davidson played as a left-back for St Johnstone, Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City and Preston North End between 1994 and 2014. At international level, Davidson represented Scotland on 19 occasions between 1998 and 2009. Since retiring as a player, Davidson has become a football coach, and was given his first full-time role in management with St Johnstone in June 2020. Callum Crane (born 8 March 1996) is a Scottish footballer, who plays as a defender for Edinburgh City. Crane has previously played for Hibernian, Berwick Rangers, Alloa Athletic, Livingston and Raith Rovers.
