California Eagles (AIF)
The California Eagles were a professional indoor football team based in Stockton, California. The team was a member of the Western Conference of American Indoor Football (AIF) during the 2012 season. The Eagles played their home games at the Stockton Arena. They are the third indoor team to play at Stockton Arena since the Stockton Lightning of af2 (2006-2009) and the Stockton Wolves (who were independent) (2011) and was preceded by the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League in 2015 for that league's National Conference Championship game and Arena Bowl XXVIII. Stockton, California
Stockton is a city in and the county seat of San Joaquin County, California, San Joaquin County in the Central Valley (California), Central Valley of the U.S. state of California. Stockton was founded by Carlos Maria Weber in 1849 after he acquired Rancho Campo de los Franceses. The city is named after Robert F. An athletic conference is a collection of sports teams, playing competitively against each other in a sports league. In many cases conferences are subdivided into smaller divisions, with the best teams competing at successively higher levels. Conferences often, but not always, include teams from a common geographic region. Australian rules football The AFL Women's competition used a non-geographic conference system in 2019 and 2020. The league was divided into two conferences, based on ladder position in the previous season. Not every team could play each other due to the limited number of rounds, so conferences were introduced so that teams were only measured against the teams they played.
