Caleb Williams (weightlifter)
Caleb Williams (born November 18, 2001) is an American football quarterback for the USC Trojans. Williams played for the Oklahoma Sooners in 2021, before transferring to USC as a sophomore in 2022, where he won several player of the year awards, including the Heisman Trophy, after throwing for 4,537 yards with a school-record 52 total touchdowns; 42 passing and 10 rushing. The Oklahoma Sooners football program is a college football team that represents the University of Oklahoma (variously "Oklahoma" or "OU"). ''The Ledger'' is a daily newspaper serving Lakeland, Florida, and the Polk County area. The paper was founded on August 22, 1924, as the ''Lakeland Evening Ledger''. In 1927, it bought its main competitor, the morning ''Lakeland Star-Telegram''. By 1930, it was obvious that Lakeland could not support two papers, so Ledger Publishing Company merged the two papers into a single morning paper, the ''Lakeland Ledger and Star-Telegram''. Elite 11
The Elite 11 is a quarterback competition for high school quarterbacks across the United States. Elite 11 was founded in 1999 by Andy Bark and continues to be run by his company, Student Sports Inc, hosted at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Over the years, 12–24 of the nation's top quarterbacks have been selected to attend the Elite 11 Finals from 6 to 8 regional competitions held across the country, where over 400 quarterbacks compete and are evaluated. Prior to 2012, the Elite 11 Finals were held across various sites in Southern California. Since 2013, the Elite 11 has been held at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon in conjunction with The Opening.
