Bolek Polívka
Boleslav Polívka (born 31 July 1949, in Vizovice) is a Czech film and theatre actor, mime, playwright, and screenwriter. He has appeared in more than 40 films. Career Polívka first started appearing in films in the 1960s. He graduated from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno in 1971, in the play ''Podivné odpoledne dr. Zvonka Burkeho'' ("The Strange Afternoon of Dr. Zvonek Burke") by Ladislav Smoček.Fikejz (2007), pp. 458-460 In 1969 he co-founded ''Divadlo Husa na provázku'' (Goose on a String Theatre) in Brno, and founded his own theatre in the same city, ''Divadlo Bolka Polívky'' (Bolek Polívka Theatre), in 1993. Jiří Brožek (born March 11, 1947) is a Czech film editor. Biography During 1967‒1973 he attended Editing and Directing at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, FAMU. Then he started to work in Barrandov Studios, Barrandov Movie Studios, from 1976 Brožek is self-emloyed. Zdeněk Svěrák
Zdeněk Svěrák (born 28 March 1936) is a Czech actor, humorist, playwright and scriptwriter, and one of the most well-known and popular Czech cultural personalities. Since 1968 he has appeared in 32 films. Career In 1958, he graduated in Czech language and literature from the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague. His work consists of more than 300 musical texts and plays, and he has appeared in 32 feature films. Among his film scripts are the Academy Award-winning ''Kolya'' and ''The Elementary School'', both directed by his son Jan Svěrák as well as ''My Sweet Little Village''. With his close friend Ladislav Smoljak and their radio colleague Jiří Šebánek, he created the fictional polymath Jára Cimrman for the radio programme ''Vinárna U pavouka'' in 1966. Bronislav Poloczek
Bronislav Poloczek ( pl, Bronisław Poloczek) (7 August 1939 – 16 March 2012) was a Polish-Czech theatre and television actor. Poloczek was born in Horní Suchá (Sucha Górna). He was best known for his appearances with the Prague National Theatre. He also appeared in various Czech television series, including ''Ulice'' and '' Hospoda''; and many films, including '' Černí baroni''. In 2012, he died in Prague, aged 72. Personal life Poloczek was a member of the Polish minority in the Czech Republic, always emphasizing his belonging to the Polish nation. In 1956 Poloczek graduated from the Juliusz Słowacki Polish Grammar School. He was married to Zdenka. The couple had a son Bronislav. His wife died in 1995.
