Cajastur
The ''Caja de Ahorros de Asturias'' (''Cajastur'') is a savings and loan association of the Principality of Asturias. ''Caja de Ahorros de Asturias'' is the trade name of the enterprise while ''Cajastur'' is the commercial brand name it commonly uses. Its activities concentrate on retail banking, focusing primarily on the economic necessities of regional households, local corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. History The origin of the bank date back to 1880, when the Monte de Piedad y Caja de Ahorros de Oviedo was founded. It became the Caja de Ahorros de Asturias in 1946 after a merger with the Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad Municipal de Gijón. Liberbank was a Spanish financial services company constituted by a merger of Group Cajastur, Caja de Extremadura and Caja Cantabria. It was established from the combination of the assets and liabilities of the banking business (excluding those pertaining to the social work of each savings bank). Liberbank has a national presence and is a leader in the retail markets of Asturias, Cantabria, Castile-La Mancha and Extremadura. On 23 May 2011, Effibank was established as a bank SIP Group Cajastur, Caja de Extremadura and Caja Cantabria. From 19 July 2011, the bank operated under the brand Liberbank. Oviedo
Oviedo (; ast, Uviéu ) is the capital city of the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain and the administrative and commercial centre of the region. TeleCable (Spain)
Telecable is a cable company that operates in Asturias (northern Spain) offering triple play services (telephone, Internet and television) as well as mobile phone services as an MVNO since 2007. The company started out as Telecable de Oviedo, Telecable de Gijón and Telecable de Avilés in 1995. In December 1998 it is given a license to work in all Asturias. From 2011, it started deploying a fiber network infrastructure in another Spanish region, Extremadura. In 2015 the company was acquired by Zegona Communications plc for a sum of 640 million euros.
