Alex Caffi
Alessandro "Alex" Caffi (born 18 March 1964) is an Italian racing driver, former Formula One driver, and team owner. He participated in 75 Grands Prix, debuting on 7 September 1986. In 2006 he raced in the inaugural season of the Grand Prix Masters formula for retired Formula One drivers. He currently serves as the team owner of NASCAR Whelen Euro Series team Alex Caffi Motorsport, occasionally doing owner-driver duties as well. Early life Caffi was born in Rovato (province of Brescia), in Northern Italy. He spent three years in Italian Formula Three from 1984 to 1986, finishing runner-up in 1984 and 1985, then third in 1986. 1986 also saw him land a one-off drive with the Osella Formula One team. Ippolito Caffi
Ippolito Caffi (1809–1866) was an Italian painter of architectural subjects and seascapes or urban vedute. Biography He was born at Belluno. His first works were produced at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice. By 1830, he had won awards for his vedute at the academy. He subsequently moved to Rome, made some reputation by his treatise on perspective, as well as by his investigations on Roman archaeology. In 1843 he visited Greece and the East (Athens, Constantinople, Syria, Egypt, and Malta). The first work of his that created a sensation was ''Carnival at Venice''. This was exhibited at Paris in 1846, and was admired for its brilliant effects of light. Other works are his ''Panorama of Rome from Monte Mario'', ''Isthmus of Suez'', and ''Close of the Carnival at Rome''. Margherita Caffi (1650 – 20 September 1710) was an Italian painter of still lifes of flowers and fruit. She was born Margherita Volo, in Milan to Francesco Volo (a still-life painter himself) and his wife, Veronica. In 1668, she married Ludivico Caffi (also a still-life painter) in Cremona. Pedro Pablo García Caffi (1944 – 1 July 2022) was an Argentine singer, stage director, producer and cultural administrator. He focused mainly on Argentine popular music, as a member of the Cuarteto Zupay; and on classical music, as conductor of the Camerata Bariloche and as general director of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires. He was general and artistic director of the Teatro Argentino de La Plata and general and artistic director of the Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires. The museum has more than 55,000 artifacts, fossils, animal and plant specimens. The museum is founded in 1918 and, after multiple moves, is currently located at Piazza Cittadella. The museum also hosts a library and provide education activities for schools in the region. History The origin of the museum could be traced back to the end of the 19th century. In 1871, the first exhibitions were held during public holidays, consisted of collections of memorabilia and artifacts from the Royal Technical Institute Vittorio Emanuele II.
