Caer (album)
''Caer'' is the fourth studio album by Dominican-American singer-songwriter George Lewis Jr., under his stage name Twin Shadow. It was released on April 27, 2018 under Warner Music Group. Release On February 22, 2018, Twin Shadow announced the release of the new album, alongside two new singles "Little Woman" and "Saturdays", which features a collaboration by Haim. On March 16, 2018, the next single "Brace" was released, with a collaboration by Rainsford. Critical reception ''Caer'' was met with "generally favorable" reviews from critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, this release received an average score of 69, based on 10 reviews. ''Loud and Quiet'' is a British bi-monthly music magazine that focuses on new music from underground indie, alternative, electronic and hip hop artists. History and profile The magazine was founded in January 2005 by Stuart Stubbs as a home-printed fanzine in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. It relocated to London in 2006. Issue 01 of ''Loud And Quiet'' featured Pete Doherty on its cover. Only 150 copies were published in a home-made fanzine style and distributed through independent record shops and clothes shops in London, England. Haim ( ; meaning "life" in Hebrew, stylized HAIM) is an American rock band, based in Los Angeles and comprising three sisters, Este (bass guitar and vocals), Danielle (lead vocals, guitar, and drums), and Alana Haim (guitars, keyboards, and vocals). In addition to their primary instruments, each is proficient in several others. The group's pop sound on their studio work stands in contrast to the more rock-oriented sound of their live shows. New Wave Music
New wave is a loosely defined music genre that encompasses pop-oriented styles from the late 1970s and the 1980s. It was originally used as a catch-all for the various styles of music that emerged after punk rock, including punk itself.
