Cadillac Chiefs
The Cadillac Chiefs were a minor league baseball team based in Cadillac, Michigan. In 1910, Chiefs became as charter members of the Class D level Western Michigan League, winning the 1910 league championship. Cadillac then continued play, with the Chiefs becoming members of the Class D Michigan State League from 1911 to 1914. The Chiefs hosted home minor league games at Recreation Park. Alfred Frederick Joseph Platte (April 13, 1890 – August 29, 1976), was an American baseball player. He played professional baseball for 17 years from 1910 to 1926, including nine games in Major League Baseball with the Detroit Tigers during their 1913 season. He appeared in 1,755 minor league baseball games between 1910 and 1926 and had 1,983 hits for a .313 batting average. Early years Platte was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1890. Ken Penner
Kenneth William Penner (April 24, 1896 – May 28, 1959) was a Major League Baseball pitcher who played for two seasons. He pitched for the Cleveland Indians in 1916 and the NL-Pennant winning Chicago Cubs in 1929; he did not appear in the World Series. Jay Parker (July 8, 1874 – June 8, 1935) was a starting pitcher who played briefly for the Pittsburgh Pirates during the season. Listed at , 185 lb., Parker batted left-handed and threw right-handed.
