Caco De Vidro
''Caco de Vidro'' (Portuguese for "Glass Shard") is the second album by Brazilian singer Duda Brack, released on 4 November 2021 through Ney Matogrosso's and Jorginho Veloso's Matogrosso and Alá Comunicação e Cultura labels; distributed by Altafonte and produced by Brack herself and Gabriel Ventura. By the end of 2020, when she presented her audiovisual project ''Uma Saga de Duda Brack'', she already planned to release the album (already titled back then) the following year. Around that time, she said the album would have funk, pagode, folk and Latin rhythms. The release is an evolution of her spectacle, which narrates the story of a woman who sets herself free from an abusive relationship through the female power. The singer described it as "an extremely female and also feminist album". Duda Brack, stage name of Eduarda Brack (Porto Alegre, 17 September 1993), is a Brazilian singer. In 2015 Duda Brack released her debut album ''É (album), É'' independently. It started to be developed in 2013, when she had over half the songs ready and called Bruno Giorgi (Lenine (musician), Lenine's son). In an interview for ''Veja (magazine), Veja'', Brack cited Fiona Apple, Gal Costa and Ana Cañas as references for the album. In 2017, she joined Secos & Molhados tribute band Primavera nos Dentes, along with Charles Gavin, Paulo Rafael, Pedro Coelho and Felipe Ventura. Caetano Emanuel Viana Teles Veloso (; born 7 August 1942) is a Brazilian composer, singer, guitarist, writer, and political activist. Veloso first became known for his participation in the Brazilian musical movement Tropicalismo, which encompassed theatre, poetry and music in the 1960s, at the beginning of the Brazilian military dictatorship that took power in 1964. A sampler is an electronic or digital musical instrument which uses sound recordings (or " samples") of real instrument sounds (e.g., a piano, violin, trumpet, or other synthesizer), excerpts from recorded songs (e.g., a five-second bass guitar riff from a funk song) or found sounds (e.g., sirens and ocean waves). Trap Music
Trap is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in the Southern United States during the 1990s. The genre gets its name from the Atlanta slang word "trap", a house used exclusively to sell drugs. Trap music uses synthesized drums and is characterized by complex hi-hat patterns, tuned kick drums with a long decay (originally from the Roland TR-808 drum machine), and lyrical content that often focuses on drug use and urban violence. The phoenix is an immortal bird associated with Greek mythology (with analogs in many cultures) that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by rising from the ashes of its predecessor.
