''Cabeça Dinossauro'' (Portuguese for ''Dinosaur Head'') is the third studio album by Brazilian rock band Titãs, released on 25 June 1986. It was their first album produced by Liminha, who was the director of WEA at the time of the album's recording, which facilitated the relationship between band and label; and their first gold album, certified as such in December 1986. Background In February 1986, before a show in São Paulo, vocalist Branco Mello told newspaper ''O Estado de S. Paulo'' that the then upcoming album would have a "more dry and raw rock" and a "more primitive, more visceral" sound. Vocalist Arnaldo Antunes and guitarist Tony Bellotto's arrest for drug possession in 1985 (and the former's subsequent three-year house arrest sentence); the "relative failure" of previous album '' Televisão''; and the will by the band to take a heavier direction influenced the music on this album. Titãs
Titãs () are a Brazilian rock band from São Paulo. Though they basically play pop/alternative rock, their music has touched a number of other styles throughout their 30-year career, such as new wave, punk rock, grunge, MPB and electronic music. They are one of the most successful rock bands in Brazil, having sold more than 6.3 million albums as of 2005 and having been covered by several well-known Brazilian artists and a couple of international singers. They were awarded a Latin Grammy in 2009 and have won the Imprensa Trophy for Best Band a record four times. O, or o, is the fifteenth letter and the fourth vowel letter in the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. Arnaldo Antunes
Arnaldo Antunes (, born Arnaldo Augusto Nora Antunes Filho, September 2, 1960) is a Brazilian musician, writer, and composer. He was a member of the rock band Titãs, which he co-founded in 1982 and left ten years later. After 1992, he embarked on a solo career. He has published poetry and had his first book published in 1983. He has worked with Marisa Monte, Tribalistas, and Carlinhos Brown. Childhood Arnaldo was born on September 2, 1960, to Arnaldo Augusto Nora Antunes and Dora Leme Ferreira. He was the fourth of seven children. In 1967, he enrolled in Luís de Camões school and studied there until 1972. During the following year, he attended PUC SP, where he first got involved with the local art scene. Branco Mello (; born Claudio Corrêa de Mello Júnior on March 16, 1962) is a Brazilian musician and actor, best known as the vocalist and bassist of Brazilian rock band Titãs. He has also played small but significant roles for the movies. Childhood Music entered Mello's life through the cinema. Every week, his father would take him to watch musicals at Metro. The movies' soundtracks joined other influences, like Bossa Nova, or the shows promoted by his mother, Lu Brandão, a cultural producer.
