José Luis Cabezas (Wilde, Buenos Aires, 28 November 1961 – General Madariaga, 25 January 1997) was an Argentine news photographer and reporter who worked for '' Noticias'', a leading local newsmagazine. Cabezas gained notoriety after he was kidnapped and killed by people hired by Alfredo Yabrán in retaliation for having taken a photo of him in Pinamar –a seaside resort in Atlantic Coast– in February 1996. The photo, which displayed Yabrán and his wife, was published on the cover of ''Noticias'' magazine in March 1996, unveiling Yabrán's face to public. Carlos Cabezas
Carlos Eduardo Cabezas Jurado (born November 14, 1980) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Alba Fehérvár. He is the nephew of the former Uruguayan professional footballer Hugo Cabezas, who played in Spain in the late 70s. His father (Hugo's brother), and his grandfather, are also former Uruguayan professional basketball players. He is a 1.87 m (6 ft 1 ¾ in) tall point guard. Professional career Cabezas began his playing career with the youth teams of Unicaja Málaga in Spain. Cabezas, also known as ''San Antonio de Cabezas'', is a Cuban village and ''consejo popular'' ("people's council", i.e. hamlet) of the municipality of Unión de Reyes, in Matanzas Province. Luis Carlos Cabezas (; born March 3, 1986) is a Colombian footballer that plays for Cúcuta Deportivo. Club career Luis Carlos was formed in the storied Colombian club's youth system making his debut for the first team during the 2006 season. He plays as a striker and was sub champion of the Copa Mustang in 2006 with Deportivo Cali. During 2007 he was loaned to second division side Córdoba FC to gain more experience.
