CY8ER (pronounced as "cyber") was a Japanese alternative idol girl group. Formed by Ichigo Rinahamu and Nicamoq as BPM15Q in 2015, the group expanded and had five members by the time of their dissolution in January 2021. Their music was characterized by its peculiar EDM style with an added ''kawaii'' element. History The group was founded as BPM15Q in 2015 by , a former member of idol groups BiS and Akishibu Project, and Nicamoq, a DJ. The name BPM15Q was chosen as a reference to the two members: 15 for Ichigo Rinahamu (fifteen is pronounced ''ichigo'') and Q for Nicamoq. The duo began releasing a series of songs, out of which peaked at 3rd on iTunes' J-pop charts. , also known as or simply , is a Japanese vocalist and idol. She is a former member of CY8ER, Bis, Akishibu Project and Strawberry Syndrome. Career 2010–2014: BiS and Akishibu Project On 25 October 2010, Rina Yokoyama was revealed to be one of the four founding members of new idol group Bis, under the stage name ヨコヤマリナ, which is her name written in ''katakana''. As a member, Yokoyama Rina participated in Bis' debut single, , and their debut album, '' Brand-new idol Society''. In June 2011, Yokoyama decided to leave the group due to her disagreements with the direction the group was taking. She then worked as a model to the now-defunct fashion magazine ''Nicky'' under her name written in ''kanji''.
