Club Voleibol Tenerife aka tubillete.com Tenerife Marichal was a Spanish volleyball club who played their home matches at the Pabellón Insular Santiago Martín hall in Tenerife. The team participates in the Women's CEV Champions League 2007-08. They won that competition in 2003-2004, the only Spanish team ever to do so. Pabellón Insular Santiago Martín
Pabellón Insular Santiago Martín is an indoor arena that is located in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain. It is primarily used for basketball games, and is the home arena of the Spanish professional basketball club, Iberostar Tenerife of the Liga ACB. Structure and features The Pabellón Insular Santiago Martín can hold 5,100 people for basketball games, and it offers 2,000 square meters of floor space. The facilities remain open all year long, without interruption. The pavilion also provides the following facilities for athletic use: 5 large locker rooms and 4 "double" locker rooms. Ingrid Visser (volleyball)
Ingrid Louise Visser (4 June 1977 – 14 May 2013) was a Dutch female volleyball player, a member of the Netherlands women's national volleyball team in 1994–2011, a participant of the 1996 Olympic Games and 1995 European Champion. Career National team Visser debuted in the Dutch volleyball team in 1994 in a friendly match against Ukraine. In 1995 she won the title of European Champion after winning the final match against Croatia 3–0 in the Netherlands. She was a member of the Dutch women's team at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, United States. Her team took fifth place in the Olympic tournament. In 2007, Visser received the golden federation's pin because of her record status as an international and her merits for volleyball in the Netherlands. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. Esther López
Esther is the eponymous heroine of the Book of Esther. In the Achaemenid Empire, the Persian king Ahasuerus seeks a new wife after his queen, Vashti, is deposed for disobeying him. Hadassah, a Jewess who goes by the name of Esther, is chosen to fulfill this role due to her beauty. Ahasuerus' grand vizier, Haman, is offended by Esther's cousin and guardian, Mordecai, due to his refusal to prostrate himself before Haman. Consequently, Haman plots to have all the Jewish subjects of Persia killed, and convinces Ahasuerus to permit him to do so.
