Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama, commonly known as Vasco da Gama or simply Vasco, is a women's association football club based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Founded in 1987, the team has been inactive for periods prior to its most recent reinstatement in 2016. The team is affiliated with Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and play their home games at São Januário. The team colors, reflected in their logo and uniform, are white and black. They play in the third tier of women's football in Brazil, the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol Feminino Série A3, and in the Campeonato Carioca de Futebol Feminino, the traditional in-state competition. Estádio São Januário
Estádio Vasco da Gama, also known as Estádio São Januário, owing to its location on a street of the same name, is the home ground of Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama. Its facade is listed by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage. It is located in the Vasco da Gama neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on a hill near the National Observatory of Brazil. Because of its position it is often referred to as Estádio da Colina (Hill's Stadium) which in turn has given Vasco the nickname of Gigante da Colina (Hill's Giant). It is one of the few Association Football specific stadiums in the world which has both team benches and coaching areas behind the goal line at the same end of the field. Artsul Futebol Clube, usually known simply as Artsul, is a Brazilian football team from the city of Nova Iguaçu in the state of Rio de Janeiro, founded on 19 June 2001. It is part of the ''Grupo Artsul'', a company specialising in concrete. The greatest success of the team has been the second place in the third division of the Rio de Janeiro state championship in 2002. Ester Aparecida dos Santos (born 9 December 1982), commonly known mononymously as Ester, is a Brazilian former footballer. She played as a " volante" (defensive midfielder) for clubs including Chelsea of the English FA WSL and BV Cloppenburg of the German Frauen-Bundesliga. Ester was part of the Brazil women's national football team who finished as runners-up in the 2007 World Cup and 2008 Summer Olympics. Career Ester began playing as a child in her neighbourhood near the São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport. She was signed for Clube Atlético Juventus after a trial, then moved on to Santos FC. Clube dos Empregados da Petrobrás - Duque de Caxias, usually known as CEPE-Caxias, is a Brazilian women's football team, from Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro state. History CEPE-Caxias was founded on March 29, 1999. In 2006, and in 2007, the club won the Carioca Women's Football Championship. In 2006, CEPE-Caxias also finished as Brazil Trophy's runner-up, after being defeated in the final by Botucatu. Marisa Pires Nogueira (born 10 August 1966), commonly known as Marisa, is a Brazilian footballer who played as a defender for the Brazil women's national football team. Marisa was named in the EC Radar club team who represented Brazil at the 1988 FIFA Women's Invitation Tournament in Guangdong and finished in third place. In the 1991 FIFA Women's World Cup, team captain Marisa started all three group games as Brazil were eliminated in the first round. She remained in the national squad for the next campaign at the 1995 South American Women's Football Championship, but was not included in the squad for the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup. Saad Esporte Clube – since 2009 commonly MS/Saad – is a Brazilian association football club founded 1961 in São Caetano do Sul on the outskirts of São Paulo. In the latter part of the first decade of the 21st century, the club established an autonomous department in Campo Grande, the capital of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, as the main focus of its notable activities.
