National Council Of European Resistance
The National Council of European Resistance (french: Conseil national de la résistance européenne, officially abbreviated as CNRE) is a France-based pan-European far-right political organization co-founded by Renaud Camus and Karim Ouchikh on by analogy to the National Council of the Resistance. It has links to the identitarian movement. The Council is intended to bring together qualified French and European personalities who aspire to "work for the defence of European civilization"—to oppose the Great Replacement, immigration to Europe, and, more generally, to defeat ''replacist totalitarianism'', a concept theorized by Renaud Camus. Membership in the Council is strictly enlarged by co-option. Several high-ranking European officials have taken part, such as former President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus, former members of the European Parliament Jean-Yves Le Gallou and Paul-Marie Coûteaux, former member of the European Parliament Janice Atkinson, former represent ... Montenegrin Language
Montenegrin ( ; cnr, label=none, / ) is a normative variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Montenegrins and is the official language of Montenegro. Montenegrin is based on the most widespread dialect of Serbo-Croatian, Shtokavian, more specifically on Eastern Herzegovinian, which is also the basis of Standard Croatian, Serbian, and Bosnian. Montenegro's language has historically and traditionally been called either Serbian or Montenegrin. The idea of a standardized Montenegrin standard language separate from Serbian appeared in the 1990s during the breakup of Yugoslavia, through proponents of Montenegrin independence from the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. Montenegrin became the official language of Montenegro with the ratification of a new constitution on 22 October 2007. Language standardization In January 2008, the government of Montenegro formed the Board (Council) for Standardization of the Montenegrin Language, which aims to standardize the ... Contrast-to-noise Ratio
Contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) is a measure used to determine image quality. CNR is similar to the metric signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), but subtracts a term before taking the ratio. This is important when there is a significant bias in an image, such as from haze. As can be seen in the picture at right, the intensity is rather high even though the features of the image are washed out by the haze. Thus this image may have a high SNR metric, but will have a low CNR metric. One way to define contrast-to-noise ratio is: :C = \frac where ''S''''A'' and ''S''''B'' are signal intensities for signal producing structures ''A'' and ''B'' in the region of interest and ''σ''o is the standard deviation of the pure image noise. See also *Contrast resolution Contrast resolution is the ability to distinguish between differences in intensity in an image. The measure is used in medical imaging to quantify the quality of acquired images. It is a difficult quantity to define because it depends o ... Combat-net Radio
In telecommunication, a combat-net radio (CNR) is a radio operating in a network that (a) provides a half-duplex circuit and (b) uses either a single radio frequency or a discrete set of radio frequencies when in a frequency hopping mode. CNRs are primarily used for push-to-talk-operated radio nets for command and control of combat, combat support, and combat service support operations among military ground, sea, and air forces. In the United States, two military standards govern the use of combat net radios and the host applications that communicate over the network: MIL-STD-188-220 and MIL-STD-2045-47001. In addition to IETF RFCs governing UDP, TCP, and IPv4/IPv6, all seven layers of the OSI communications architecture are addressed. MIL-STD-2045-47001 covers layer 7 ( application), while MIL-STD-188-220 covers layers 1 through 3 (physical, data link, and network). Communications And Networking Riser
Communications and networking riser (CNR) is a slot found on certain PC motherboards and used for specialized networking, audio, and telephony equipment. A motherboard manufacturer can choose to provide audio, networking, or modem functionality in any combination on a CNR card. CNR slots were once commonly found on Pentium III-class motherboards, but have since been phased out in favor of on-board or embedded components. Technology Physically, a CNR slot has two rows of 30 pins, with two possible pin configurations: Type A and Type B, each with different pin assignments. CNR Type A uses 8-pin PHY interface, while Type B uses 17-pin media-independent interface (''MII'') bus LAN interface. Both types carry USB and AC'97 signals. As with AMR, CNR had the cost savings potential for manufacturers by removing analog I/O components from the motherboard. This allowed the manufacturer to only certify with the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for the CNR card, and not the enti ... Cisco Network Registrar
Cisco Prime Network Registrar (CNR) is a Cisco software product that includes components for Domain Name System (DNS) services, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol services, Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) services, and Simple Network Management Protocol functions. CNR provides a regional and local management structure and is supported on server hardware and software based on 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. This product is now called Cisco Prime Network Registrar. DHCP server CNR is a DHCP/DHCPv6 server used by cable-based and similar network service providers because of its support for fail-over between redundant servers, Dynamic DNS updates so that DHCP leases are reflected in DNS data, integration with directory services using LDAP Version 3, and ability to handle high request rates. It is also extensible. DNS server The DNS Server in CNR 7.1 provides both authoritative and recursive service, supports incremental zone transfer, notify, and dynamic update, and can serv ... Carrier-to-noise Ratio
In telecommunications, the carrier-to-noise ratio, often written CNR or ''C/N'', is the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of a modulated signal. The term is used to distinguish the CNR of the radio frequency passband signal from the SNR of an analog base band message signal after demodulation. For example, with FM radio, the strength of the 100 MHz carrier with modulations would be considered for CNR, whereas the audio frequency analogue message signal would be for SNR; in each case, compared to the apparent noise. If this distinction is not necessary, the term SNR is often used instead of CNR, with the same definition. Digitally modulated signals (e.g. QAM or PSK) are basically made of two CW carriers (the I and Q components, which are out-of-phase carriers). In fact, the information (bits or symbols) is carried by given combinations of phase and/or amplitude of the I and Q components. It is for this reason that, in the context of digital modulations, digitally modulated signals ar ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

CNR (software)
CNR, or One-Click & Run, was a free one-click software delivery service that was created to make finding and installing Linux software easier. It assisted the user in finding and installing software on their computer, and sat dormant in the system tray when not in use. CNR offered a large database of Linux programs that were suitable for everyday and specialty usage. It was available for Linspire and its derivatives, as well as various other Linux distributions. History In 2002, the legacy CNR was created as a digital software delivery service created by Linspire, Inc. The service provide the desktop Linux user with an online software warehouse from which they could click on a product and have it installed on their desktop automatically. It required a paid membership of $49.95 to use the service. The warehouse hosted free, non-free, and commercial Linux software titles. The service relied on a client application to work in concert with Debian's APT and dpkg to resolve dependenc ...
