''Leyendas Mexicanas'' (2018) was a professional wrestling super card event produced by the Mexican '' Lucha Libre'' promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL; Spanish for "World Wrestling Council"). The Leyendas Mexicana show took place on November 30, 2018 in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico and celebrated the history of ''lucha libre'' in Mexico. The event saw the return of several wrestlers who had not worked for CMLL in a long time, in a couple of cases they had not worked in a CMLL ring since the 1990s. The main event of the ''Leyendas Mexicanas'' show was a traditional six-man "Lucha Libre rules" tag team match that saw Atlantis, Blue Panther and Rayo de Jalisco Jr. defeat El Canek, Máscara Año 2000 and Villano IV. Consejo Mundial De Lucha Libre
Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as ''Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre'' (''EMLL'') (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Founded in 1933, it is the oldest professional wrestling promotion still in existence. CMLL currently recognizes and promotes twelve "World Championships" for various weight divisions and classifications, six national level and six regional level championships. Jesús Reyes González (born 10 March 1958) is a Mexican '' Luchador'', or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Máscara Año 2000 or Máscara Año Dos Mil. His ring name is Spanish for "Mask of the year 2000", originally referring to the mask Reyes wore while wrestling. Reyes was forced to unmask when he lost a '' Lucha de Apuesta'' (bet match) to Perro Aguayo in 1993. Fuerza Guerrera (born December 13, 1953) is a Mexican ''Luchador enmascarado'' (or masked professional wrestler) who made his debut in 1978. El Solar (born May 26, 1956 in Zacoalco de Torres, Jalisco, Mexico) is the ring name of a Mexican '' Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler who has been working in Mexico since 1975. Jesús Reza Rosales (born January 15, 1951) is a Mexican '' Luchador'', or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Mano Negra. Mano Negra is Spanish for "The Black Hand" and is taken from the Spanish anarchist organisation '' La Mano Negra''. Super Muñeco (''Super Doll'') (10 April 1952 – 9 February 2022) was a Mexican '' Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler. Super Muñeco is Spanish for "Super Doll", a comedic ring character based on a clown. Super Muñeco is best known for having the second highest number of '' Luchas de Apuestas'' "bet match" wins, having won the mask or hair of over 100 wrestlers. Ramón Ibarra Rivera (born January 26, 1981), better known by his ring name Volador Jr., is a Mexican ''luchador'' (or professional wrestler), who works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Luis Ignacio Urive Alvirde (born December 22, 1982), better known by his ring name Místico (Spanish for "Mystic"), is a Mexican '' luchador enmascarado'' (or masked professional wrestler), who currently works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). CMLL World Trios Championship
The CMLL World Trios Championship (Spanish: "''Campeonato Mundial de Trios''") is a professional wrestling championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in Mexico. The title has existed since 1991 and is contested for by teams of three wrestlers. As it is a professional wrestling championship, it is not won or lost competitively but instead by the decision of the bookers of a wrestling promotion. The title is awarded to the chosen team after they "win" a match to maintain the illusion that professional wrestling is a competitive sport.
