CJ Perez
Christian Jaymar Perez (born November 17, 1993) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was selected 1st overall in the 2018 PBA draft by Columbian Dyip. Early life and college career Although born in Kowloon, Hong Kong, CJ lives and grew up in Bautista, Pangasinan, Philippines. CJ Perez played for San Sebastian College – Recoletos Stags, Ateneo De Manila Blue Eagles and Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates. In his final college season, he averaged a league-best 19.3 points per game, while grabbing 6.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists while leading the Pirates to an 18-game sweep of the eliminations, where they were eventually beaten by San Beda in the Finals. He also could have been on the NCAA Mythical Team that year if not for a suspension. The Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup (previously known as the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup) is a pre-season collegiate basketball tournament in the Philippines. It is organized by Filoil EcoOil Sports. 2017 PCCL National Collegiate Championship
The 2017 PCCL National Collegiate Championship is the ninth edition of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) in its current incarnation, the postseason tournament to determine the national collegiate champions in basketball. The tournament will be the ninth edition in its current incarnation, and the 14th edition overall. Format Eight teams will compete in the national championship to be held in Metro Manila in February 2018. The finalists of the recently concluded NCAA and UAAP basketball championships, as well as the champion of the CESAFI basketball championship will automatically qualify in the tournament. 2018 PBA D-League Aspirant's Cup
The 2018 PBA D-League Aspirants Cup was the first conference of the 2017-18 PBA Developmental League season. It was opened on January 18, 2018 at the Ynares Sports Arena and competed by 13 teams and it was finished on May 1, 2018 where the Zark's Burger - LPU defeated the Che'Lu Bar & Grill in the best-of-3 finals showdown, 2 games to 1 and clinching their first ever title in their franchise. The PBA Developmental League, or PBA D-League, is the Philippine Basketball Association's official minor league basketball organization. History The PBA D-League was conceptualized after the collapse of the proposed merger between the Philippine Basketball League (PBL) and Liga Pilipinas after the staging of the ''Tournament of the Philippines'' which was composed by PBL and Liga Pilipinas teams.
