CJTS-FM was a French language, French-language Canada, Canadian radio station located in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Owned and operated by Cogeco, it broadcast on 104.5 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 9,200 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 50,000 watts (List of broadcast station classes, class C1). The station's transmitter was located at Mont-Bellevue, Quebec, Mount Bellevue. History The station was licensed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission in 2003, and went on the air on May 31, 2004. It was originally owned by local broadcaster Groupe Génération Rock, and had the call sign CIGR-FM. On June 18, 2007, CIGR's owners announced a tentative deal to sell the station to Corus Entertainment. The transaction was approved by the CRTC in December 2007, and was completed as of January 28, 2008. CKOI (network)
CKOI was a network of French language, French-language adult top 40 outlets broadcasting throughout the province of Quebec. Created by Corus Québec on November 6, 2009, the network and its stations are currently owned and operated by Cogeco. The name of the network is derived from the call sign of its flagship station in Montreal, CKOI-FM. Souvenirs Garantis ''(French for "Memories Guaranteed")'' was a network of French-language classic hits radio stations broadcasting throughout Quebec, Canada. Anchored by CFOM-FM 102.9 in Quebec City, the format was created by Corus Entertainment, as part of the Corus Québec group of stations. Under Corus ownership, ''Souvenirs Garantis'' stations were based in all major Quebec markets, except for Montreal, which had no station carrying the format full-time. The format featured a largely defined classic hits format, including music from the 1970s to the 1990s but mostly from the 1970s and 1980s. The branding was first used by CFOM-FM in 2005, though that station carried an oldies format since 1995. CFOM-FM acted as the flagship station of the ''Souvenirs Garantis'' network. CKAC is a French-language radio station located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Owned by Cogeco, the station operates as a commercial traffic information service branded as ''Radio Circulation 730''. Its studios are located at Place Bonaventure in Downtown Montreal, and its transmitter is located in Saint-Joseph-du-Lac. CIMO-FM is a French language, French-language radio station located in Magog, Quebec, Magog, Quebec, Canada, near Sherbrooke. Owned and operated by Bell Media, it broadcasts on 106.1 Hertz, MHz with an effective radiated power of 1,600 watts (List of broadcast station classes, class B) using an omnidirectional antenna located on the top of Mount Orford. Owned and operated by Bell Media, it broadcasts on 102.7 MHz with an effective radiated power of 92,000 watts ( class C1) using an omnidirectional antenna on Mount Orford. This gives the station an impressive coverage area, as far west as Montreal, and as far south as St. Johnsbury, Vermont and Littleton, New Hampshire. However, it suffers from severe deficiencies in downtown Sherbrooke, most likely due to tall buildings blocking its signal in some areas.
