CJTM
CJTM, branded as Met Radio, is a low-powered AM campus and community radio station, owned and operated by Radio Ryerson Inc. at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), which was granted a broadcast license by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission on December 11, 2014. The station broadcasts on 1280 kHz with a signal strength of 99 watts as well as online. The station officially launched on the AM band under the call sign CJRU on March 31, 2016, after several weeks of test transmissions. The 1280 AM frequency was previously used by CFBN. In July 2023, the station announced its call sign change to CJTM and rebrand to Met Radio, as part of the institution's overall renaming from Ryerson University to Toronto Metropolitan University. CHHA is a Canadian AM radio station, broadcasting at 1610 kHz in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Owned and operated by the San Lorenzo Latin American Community Centre, the station airs a Spanish language community radio format branded as ''Voces Latinas'', along with some programming in English, Italian, Portuguese, Punjabi and Tagalog. CHHA's studios are located on Wenderly Drive in the Glen Park neighbourhood of Toronto, while its transmitter is located in the Port Lands neighbourhood at Toronto's waterfront. Cherry Street is a north-south arterial roadway in the eastern downtown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is situated in a former industrial area, that is now the site of redevelopment. It connects Eastern Avenue south to Lake Shore Boulevard (where a short section was subsumed into Lake Shore when it was extended east) then to the Toronto Port Lands district, and terminates at Lake Ontario at Cherry Beach. The Port Lands (also known as Portlands) of Toronto, Ontario, Canada are an industrial and recreational neighbourhood located about 5 kilometres south-east of downtown, located on the former Don River delta and most of Ashbridge's Bay.
