Club Instituto Rosalía de Castro is a basketball team based in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia and plays in the Pavillón Instituto Rosalia de Castro, in Liga EBA. History The club was born in the Rosalía de Castro High School and it played professionally during several years in LEB Oro and LEB Plata. Since Obradoiro CAB returned to Liga ACB, the club resigned to play professionally and continues its basketball activity in Liga EBA, integrated in the Fedesa Foundation with women's basketball club CB Pío XII. Liga EBA
Liga Española de Baloncesto Aficionado (EBA), commonly known as Liga EBA, is a Spanish basketball championship that is the fourth tier level in the Spanish basketball league system, after the Liga ACB, LEB Oro, and LEB Plata. It is administered by the FEB. It was previously the Spanish second tier level competition from 1994 to 1996, the third tier level from 1996 to 2000, and the fifth tier level, from 2007 to 2009. The Liga EBA is made up of five inter-regional groups. After the regular season, sixteen teams advance to the playoffs, where only four teams are promoted to the LEB Plata. The lowest ranked teams of each group, are relegated to the Primera División. Corsley Edwards
Corsley Edwards (born March 5, 1979) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Central Connecticut. Early life and college Edwards was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and graduated from Lake Clifton High School in 1998. He played collegiately at Central Connecticut State University and led the team to its first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2000, losing a close 88–78 battle as a #15 seed against #2 seeded Iowa State. Professional career Edwards was selected by the Sacramento Kings with the final (58th) pick in the 2002 NBA draft but he did not sign with them. In its 2002 draft, the Yakima Sun Kings of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) selected Edwards as the top (17th overall) pick in the CBA third round. Sandi Čebular (born 24 June 1986) is a Slovenian professional basketball player who last played for CB Breogán of the Liga Española de Baloncesto. He is tall. The Primera División de Baloncesto is the fifth level in the Spanish basketball league system. Current format The Primera División works similar to the Tercera División of Spanish football.
