Conventional International Origin
Conventional International Origin (CIO) is a conventionally defined reference axis of the pole's average location on the Earth's surface over the year 1900. Polar motion is the movement of Earth's rotation axis across its surface. The axis of the Earth's rotation tends, as the axis of a gyroscope, to maintain its orientation to inertial space. The Conventional International Origin is used to measure this movement. JFS (file System)
Journaled File System (JFS) is a 64-bit journaling file system created by IBM. There are versions for AIX, OS/2, eComStation, ArcaOS and Linux operating systems. The latter is available as free software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). HP-UX has another, different filesystem named JFS that is actually an OEM version of Veritas Software's VxFS. In the AIX operating system, two generations of JFS' exist, which are called ''JFS'' (''JFS1'') and ''JFS2'' respectively. In other operating systems, such as OS/2 and Linux, only the second generation exists and is called simply ''JFS''. This should not be confused with JFS in AIX that actually refers to JFS1. History IBM introduced JFS with the initial release of AIX version 3.1 in February 1990. This file system, now called ''JFS1 on AIX'', was the premier file system for AIX over the following decade and was installed in thousands or millions of customers' AIX systems. Historically, the JFS1 file system is ...

Charitable Incorporated Organisation
A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) is a corporate form of business designed for (and only available to) charitable organisations in England and Wales, similar to (but with important differences from) a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. CIO status is conferred by the Charity Commission for England and Wales on application by the proposed members of the CIO. Usually the members are also the proposed trustees, but this is not a requirement. The main benefits of the form are that the charity has legal personality (the ability to enter contracts, sue and be sued, and to hold property in its own name – rather than in the name of its trustees), and its members have limited liability (their liability in the event the charity becomes insolvent is limited or nil). Historically these benefits were only available to limited companies, and many charities chose to incorporate as charitable companies limited by guarantee. However, this requires registration and fil ...

Currently, the incumbent Chair-in-Office is also the President of Rwanda. Overview The primary responsibility of the Chair-in-Office is to host the CHOGM, but their roles can be expanded. For example, after the 2002 CHOGM, the incumbent, previous, and next Chairmen-in-Office formed a troika in an attempt to resolve the ongoing dispute over Zimbabwe's membership of the Commonwealth. The position was created after the 1999 CHOGM, with Thabo Mbeki becoming the first Chair-in-Office. However, Mbeki did very little to develop the position, leaving it virtually vacant until the next CHOGM in 2002, when the troika was created. Even after John Howard became Chair, the troika's first me ...
