CHLM-FM-2
CHLM-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 90.7 FM in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. The station broadcasts the programming of the Ici Radio-Canada Première network. History In 1976, then-owner Radio-Nord Communications was granted a license from the CRTC, in which the station would operate as Radio-Canada's private affiliate of what was then called "Première Chaîne"; also included was a rebroadcaster, CHLM-FM-1 at Lithium Mines, serving nearby Val-d'Or, operating on 97.3 MHz with effective radiated power of 52,000 watts. In 1979, CHLM-FM-1 was authorized to move to 103.5 MHz and to increase effective radiated power to 55,300 watts. CHLM-FM and CHLM-FM-1 signed on the air by 1980; eventually, CHLM-FM-1's city of license would have changed to Amos, and broadcasting on another different frequency, 91.5 MHz. Amos, Quebec
Amos is a town in northwestern Quebec, Canada, on the Harricana River. It is the seat of Abitibi Regional County Municipality. Amos is the main town on the Harricana River, and the smallest of the three primary towns — after Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or — in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region of Quebec. Its main resources are spring water, gold and wood products, including paper. In 2012, Quebec Lithium Corp. re-opened Canada's first lithium mine, which had operated as an underground mine from 1955–65. They are planning to carve an open pit mine over pegmatite dikes. (The pegmatite is about 1% lithium carbonate.) The mine is about north of Val-d'Or, southeast of Amos, and km west of Barraute. It is in the northeast corner of La Corne Township. Témiscaming
Témiscaming is a city located at the south end of Lac Témiscamingue on the upper Ottawa River in the Témiscamingue Regional County Municipality of western Quebec, Canada. Also nearby is Lake Kipawa. It is the administrative headquarters of the Algonquin Nation Wolf Lake First Nations band government. History The Ottawa River had long been used by Indigenous peoples, colonial explorers, coureurs des bois, and missionaries as transportation route through the region. Some of the notable travellers passing by Témiscaming were Radisson and des Groseilliers, Saint-Lusson, Charles le Moyne and Pierre Le Moyne, and Chevalier de Troyes. Matagami (, ) is a small town in Quebec, Canada. It is located north of Amos, on Matagami Lake, at the northern terminus of Route 109 and the start of the James Bay Road (French: ''Route de la Baie James''). It is enclaved within the local municipality of Eeyou Istchee James Bay Regional Government, but administratively independent of it. The town had a population of 1,526 as of the Canada 2011 Census. Lebel-sur-Quévillon is a city in the Canadian province of Quebec, located on Route 113 in the Jamésie region. It is located approximately 88 kilometres north of Senneterre and approximately 200 kilometres southwest of Chibougamau. CBF-FM is a French-language Canadian radio station licensed to Montreal, Quebec. Owned and operated by the government-owned Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, it transmits on 95.1 MHz from the Mount Royal candelabra tower with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts ( class C1) using an omnidirectional antenna.
