Club de Fútbol Lorca Deportiva is a Spanish football club based in Lorca, in the autonomous community of the Region of Murcia. Founded in 2012, it plays in Tercera División RFEF – Group 13, holding home games at ''Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco'', with an 8,100-seat capacity. History The club was founded after the dissolution of Lorca Atlético in 2012, by supporters who did not support La Hoya Lorca CF, as this team was based in the hamlet of La Hoya. In its first season, despite being registered in Segunda Autonómica, the seventh division, it played one level above after filling a vacant place. After two promotions in three seasons, Lorca Deportiva made its debut in Tercera División in 2015. The club won the league but could not achieve promotion to Segunda División B. Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco is a multi-use stadium in Lorca, Spain. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the former home ground of Lorca Deportiva CF. It is the home ground of two clubs, Lorca FC and CF Lorca Deportiva. The stadium holds 8,120. 2018–19 Tercera División
The 2018–19 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It began in August 2018 and ended in late June 2019 with the promotion play-off finals. Competition format *The top four eligible teams in each group would play the promotion playoffs. *The champion of each group would qualify to 2019–20 Copa del Rey. If the champion is a reserve team, the first non-reserve team qualified would join the Copa. *In each group, at least three teams would be relegated to Regional Divisions. The 2021–22 Tercera División RFEF season will be the first for the national fifth level in the Spanish football league system. The league has 18 groups like the former fourth tier Tercera División. Competition format *The group champions will be promoted to 2022–23 Segunda División RFEF. *The next four eligible teams in each group will play in the promotion play-offs. *The champion of each group will qualify for 2022–23 Copa del Rey.
