545 Lake Shore Boulevard West is a former media studio complex located along the harbourfront of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the intersection of Bathurst Street, Toronto, Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West. The Art Deco building was designed by Toronto architects Chapman and Oxley, and was completed in 1927 as the Crosse & Blackwell, Crosse and Blackwell Building for its namesake food products manufacturer. It has been listed as a City of Toronto Heritage Property Inventory, heritage property by the City of Toronto's Heritage Preservation Services since 1973, and following restoration became the CFMT Building in 1979 to house Toronto multicultural television station CFMT-DT, CFMT-TV; it was joined by sister station CJMT-DT, CJMT-TV upon its launch in 2002. CITY-DT (channel 57) is a television station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, serving as the flagship station of the Citytv network. It is owned and operated by network parent Rogers Sports & Media alongside Omni Television outlets CFMT-DT (channel 47) and CJMT-DT (channel 40). The stations share studios at 33 Dundas Street East on Yonge–Dundas Square in downtown Toronto, while CITY-DT's transmitter is located atop the CN Tower. Harbourfront is a neighbourhood on the northern shore of Lake Ontario within the downtown core of the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Part of the Toronto waterfront, Harbourfront extends from Bathurst Street in the west, along Queens Quay, with its ill-defined eastern boundary being either Yonge Street or York Street. Jarvis Street
Jarvis Street is a north-south thoroughfare in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, passing through some of the oldest developed areas in the city. Its alignment extends from Queens Quay East in the south to Bloor Street in the north. The segment south of Front Street is known as "Lower Jarvis Street" while the segment from Bloor Street to Mount Pleasant Road is known as "Ted Rogers Way". The street is a mix of older buildings dating back to the 1800s, including St. Lawrence Market, and has a large proportion of recent condominium apartment buildings.
