CFCH-FM (British Columbia)
CFCH-FM ''(defunct)'' was a Canadian community radio station, broadcasting at 103.5 FM in Chase, British Columbia. It was last owned by the Chase and District Community Radio Society. History On October 6, 2004, the CRTC approved the Chase and District Lions Community Club's application to operate an English-language developmental community FM radio station, broadcasting at 103.5 MHz with an effective radiated power of 4.7 watts. The station commenced broadcasting in 2005. Ownership was transferred to the Chase and District Community Radio Society in 2007. On August 1, 2008, The CRTC approved the Radio Society's application for a regular, English-language, low-power Type B community FM radio station at 103.5 MHz (channel 278LP) with an effective radiated power of 19.7 watts. Chase is a village located in the Interior of British Columbia, Canada. It has a population of 3,399, and its main industries are forestry and tourism. CFXN-FM is a Canadian radio station, that airs a classic hits format at 106.3 FM in North Bay, Ontario. The station is branded as ''106.3 Moose FM'' with the slogan ''North Bay's Biggest Variety''. The station plays a variety of current, recent and older hits. It is a "middle of the road" format positioned between the city's Top 40 and hard rock stations. The station was licensed on the basis of a proposal to air a country music format similar to that of the co-owned CHMT in Timmins. Vista Radio Ltd. (also formerly known as Vista Broadcast Group) is a Canadian radio broadcasting company. The company only owned stations in British Columbia until 2007, when it expanded outside the province by acquiring an existing station in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories and launching a new one in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
