CEP Fleurus
Cercle d’Education Physique Fleurus, mostly referred to as CEP Fleurus or simply CEP, is a Belgian basketball club based in the city of Fleurus. The team plays in the Belgian Second Division. History After the establishment of the team in 1925 (with the founders that were George Melotte, Auguste Servais, Edgard Malnoury, Jean Leclercq and Albert Marfort), CEPF joined the federation of Brabant in 1936 (with the opponents Royal IV, the Fresh Air, St. Gilloise Union, etc...). The registration number 069, launched at the baptismal font there 78 years, was to become the oldest of the Kingdom. Fleurus
Fleurus (; wa, Fleuru) is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. It has been the site of four major battles. The municipality consists of the following districts: Brye, Heppignies, Fleurus, Lambusart, Saint-Amand, Wagnelée, Wanfercée-Baulet (wa: ''Wanfercêye-Bålet''), and Wangenies. History Traces of agriculture dating back to the Neolithic Age were found in area known as Fleurjoux and Neuve Baraque. Later the site saw the construction of the Chaussée Brunehaut, a road network of uncertain origin, perhaps attributable to the Roman Empire. The FIBA Korać Cup was an annual basketball club competition held by FIBA between the 1971–72 and 2001–02 seasons. Jean-Marc Jaumin
Jean-Marc Jaumin (born 5 February 1970) is a Belgian retired basketball player and current head coach for Circus Brussels of the BNXT League. Coaching career After being an assistant-coach for two years with BC Oostende, the club Jaumin also played for, Jaumin became head coach in 2010. In 2011, he was fired. Jaumin signed a one-year contract with Den Helder Kings in 2012. In December 2012, he signed for 4 more years in Den Helder. Eight games into the 2014–15 season, Jaumin resigned after Kings didn't pay his salary caused by financial problems of the club. He later returned, but the club was eventually declared bankrupt. In 2015, he signed with Lugano Tigers in the Swiss LNBA. In 2016, Jaumin signed with Lions de Genève for the 2016–17 season. Lloyd Batts (born May 9, 1951) is a retired American basketball player. Early life Born in Chicago, Batts was one of seven children. His father died when Lloyd was 12. His mother was deaf mute, and the state of Illinois decided the brothers and sisters should live with relatives who could better care for them, so Lloyd and two siblings moved to live with an aunt and uncle in a south suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Batts became a star forward for Thornton Township High School in Harvey, Illinois. As a young player in Chicago, he was known as a "hang-gliding, super-flying sort of player" who was a "legend of local playgrounds." He averaged 29 points per game as a junior and 35 as a senior.
