Club Baloncesto Atapuerca, more commonly known as (Autocid) Ford Burgos by sponsorship reasons, was a professional basketball team based in Burgos, Castilla y León and played in the Polideportivo El Plantío, in LEB Gold league. History The club born as CD Maristas started to play in lower division with that team. CD Maristas reached the Liga EBA in the 98–99 season and competed in that league during three years. In 2001, the club became independent of the ''Liceo Castilla'' school and gets the name of CB Atapuerca, more recently becoming known as Autocid Ford Burgos for sponsorship reasons. In 2002, because of the renounces of other teams, the club reaches the LEB Plata, called LEB–2 that year, and after a first bad year, CB Atapuerca grows and tries to promote to LEB Oro. Polideportivo El Plantío
Polideportivo El Plantío is a multi-purpose sports arena in Burgos, Castile and León, Spain. It has a capacity of 2,432 seats but for CB Miraflores games it's expanded to 3,150 by adding chairs in all the corridors. It is owned by the Burgos City Hall. The arena serves as the home of the main local sports teams. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The competition was founded as the ACB Primera División on 1983 following the decision of clubs in the Liga Nacional, founded in 1957, to break away from the Spanish Basketball Federation and professionalize the league. FC Barcelona Bàsquet B (English: FC Barcelona Basketball B), commonly referred to as FC Barcelona B () and colloquially known as Barça B (), is the reserve team of the FC Barcelona. Club Baloncesto Tizona S.A.D., more commonly known as UBU Tizona by sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team based in Burgos, Castilla y León and plays in the Polideportivo El Plantío. The team currently plays in LEB Plata. History The club started in 2013 as the successor of CB Atapuerca, dissolved after failing to promote to Liga ACB, due to not fulfilling all the requirements. The name is a homage to former ''CB Espada Tizona'', the main club in Burgos during the 1970s and the 1980s, and was created as a Sociedad Anónima Deportiva with the aim to make easier a future promotion to ACB, goal achieved in its first season. The Asociación de Clubes Españoles de Baloncesto (Spanish Basketball Clubs Association), more commonly known as the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), is a national sports association responsible for administering the main professional basketball league in Spain - the Liga Endesa. The organisation was founded in 1982. Competition The 18 member clubs of the ACB are grouped into the Liga Endesa. In any given season a club plays each of the others in the same division twice, once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents. The 2012–13 LEB Oro season was the 17th season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto, a Spanish basketball league. It was named Adecco Oro as its sponsored identity. The champion of the regular season would be promoted to Liga ACB. The teams between second and ninth position will play a best of five games play off, where the winner would be promoted too to the higher division. Bàsquet Club Andorra S.A., also known as MoraBanc Andorra for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team that is based in Andorra la Vella, Andorra. Though based in Andorra, the club plays in the Spanish basketball league system. The team plays in the LEB Oro with home games played at the Poliesportiu d'Andorra.
