CBS Evening News With Dan Rather
The ''CBS Evening News'' is the flagship evening television news program of CBS News, the news division of the CBS television network in the United States. The ''CBS Evening News'' is a daily evening broadcast featuring news reports, feature stories and interviews by CBS News correspondents and reporters covering events around the world. The program has been broadcast since July 1, 1941, under the original title ''CBS Television News'', eventually adopting its current title in 1963. Since July 15, 2019, the nightly broadcast has been anchored by Norah O'Donnell and has been titled ''CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell''; since December 2, 2019, the newscast has emanated from CBS News’ bureau in Washington, D.C. ''CBS Mornings'' is an American morning television program which is broadcast on CBS. The program debuted on September 7, 2021, and airs live every weekday from 7:00a.m. to 9:00a.m. It is hosted by Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil, and Nate Burleson, from studios at One Astor Plaza in Times Square, the headquarters of network parent company Paramount Global. It is the 11th distinct weekday morning news-features program format aired by CBS since 1954 and serves as a direct replacement for the second incarnation of ''CBS This Morning''. Reena Ninan
Reena Ninan (born April 18, 1979) is an American television journalist, most recently working for CBS News, based in New York City. Career Ninan anchored CBSN, and was the anchor from 2016-2020, of the Saturday edition of the ''CBS Weekend News'' until being replaced by Adriana Diaz. She also reported for ''CBS This Morning'', ''CBS Evening News'' and other CBS broadcasts. She started her career as a producer at the Washington Post. From 2004 to 2012 she reported for Fox News Channel, becoming Fox News' Middle East Correspondent in 2007 until she left the network in 2012. She has reported from throughout the world, including Libya, Indonesia, India, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq during the Iraq War. Jeff Glor
Jeffrey Todd Glor (born July 12, 1975) is an American journalist, co-host of ''CBS Saturday Morning '' and a CBS News special correspondent. He had previously anchored the ''CBS Evening News'' from 2017 to 2019. Early life and education Glor was born in Buffalo, New York, where he attended Kenmore East High School, a public high school in his hometown of Tonawanda, New York. Scott Pelley
Scott Cameron Pelley (born July 28, 1957) is an American journalist and author who has been a correspondent and anchor for CBS News for more than 31 years. Pelley is the author of the 2019 book, ''Truth Worth Telling'', and a correspondent for the CBS News magazine '' 60 Minutes''. Bob Lloyd Schieffer (born February 25, 1937) is an American television journalist. He is known for his moderation of presidential debates, where he has been praised for his capability. Schieffer is one of the few journalists to have covered all four of the major Washington national assignments: the White House, the Pentagon, United States Department of State, and United States Congress. Daniel Irvin Rather Jr. (; born October 31, 1931) is an American journalist, commentator, and former national evening news anchor. Rather began his career in Texas, becoming a national name after his reporting saved thousands of lives during Hurricane Carla in September 1961. Rather spontaneously created the first radar weather report by overlaying a transparent map over a radar image of Hurricane Carla. In his first national broadcast, he helped initiate the successful evacuation of 350,000 people. He reported on some of the most significant events of the modern age, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Gulf war, 9/11, the second Iraq war, and the war on terror.
