CADICA
CADICA (''Spanish'': Confederación Atlética del Istmo Centroamericano; Central American Isthmus Athletic Confederation) is the regional confederation governing body of athletics for national governing bodies and multi-national federations within Central America. The organization was founded in 1964, shortly before the second Central American Championships in Athletics were held. The current president is Ing. Calixto Sierra from Honduras. Central American Cross Country Championships
The Central American Cross Country Championships (''Spanish: Campeonato Centroamericano de Campo Traviesa'') are an annual Cross country running competition organized by CADICA for athletes representing the countries of its member associations. They were established in 2007. Races are featured for senior (''Mayor''), junior (U-20, ''Juvenil A''), youth (U-18, ''Juvenil B''), and two age groups (U-16, (''Juvenil C'') starting in 2008, and U-14, (''Infantil A'') starting in 2012) for both male and female athletes. Central American Race Walking Championships
The Central American Race Walking Championships (''Spanish: Campeonato Centroamericano de Marcha'') is an annual race walking competition organized by CADICA for athletes representing the countries of its member associations. The event was established in 2007 as Central American Race Walking Cup (''Spanish: Copa Centroamericana de Marcha''). The name was changed in 2012. Races are featured for senior (''Spanish: Mayor''), junior (U-20, ''Spanish: Juvenil A''), youth (U-18, ''Spanish: Juvenil B''), and two age groups (U-16, (''Spanish: Juvenil C''), and U-14, (''Spanish: Infantil A'')) for both male and female athletes. Central American Junior And Youth Championships In Athletics
The Central American Junior and Youth Championships in Athletics (''Spanish: Campeonatos Centroamericanos Juvenil A y B'') is an athletics event organized by the Central American Isthmus Athletic Confederation (CADICA) (''Spanish: Confederación Atlética del Istmo Centroamericano'') open for athletes from member associations. The event is divided into the Junior B Central American Championships and the Junior A Central American Championships. The Junior A category is open for girls and boys aged 18–19. The Junior B category is open for girls and boys aged 15–17. There is a report on an early Central American Junior Championship held in the year 1975 in Guatemala. At least from 1997 on, it is verified that the competition is held annually. Records can be set by both Junior (U-20) and Youth (U-18) athletes who compete at the championships in their category representing one of CADICA's member federations. The Central American Age Group Championships in Athletics (Campeonatos Centroamericanos Juvenil C y Infantil A) is an athletics event organized by the Confederación Atlética del Istmo Centroamericano CADICA (Central American Isthmus Athletic Confederation) open for athletes from member associations. The event is divided into the Junior C (U-16) Central American Championships and the Infantile A (U-14) Central American Championships. The Junior C category is open for girls and boys aged 14–15. The Infantile A category is open for girls and boys aged 12–13. The Federacion Salvadoreña de Atletismo (FEDEATLETISMO; ''Federación Salvadoreña de Atletismo'') is the governing body for the sport of athletics in El Salvador. The Belize Athletic Association (BAA) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Belize. History BAA was founded in 1956 as Belize Amateur Athletic Association (BAAA).
