C.D. Olmedo
Club Centro Deportivo Olmedo is an Ecuadorian professional football club based in Riobamba, Ecuador. They play in the Serie B. The club won their only national championship in 2000. Their achievement made them the first club outside Quito and Guayaquil to win a national championship. They have also won two Serie B titles in 1994 and 2003. Internationally, they have played in the Copa Libertadores four times, reaching the Round of 16 once in 2002. Founded in 1919, Olmedo is one of the oldest clubs in the Serie A or Serie B. Their home stadium is the Estadio Olímpico, in the year 2000 they became the first club in the history of the Ecuadorian Serie A to win a league title that does not come from Quito or Guayaquil. As of 2021 Olmedo is going through an economic crises that made them official bankrupt and could be dissolved at the end of the year. Pedro Damián Monzón (born 23 February 1962) is an Argentine football coach and former player who played as a defender. Club career ''Moncho'' Monzón played in different clubs, but most importantly in Independiente, with which he obtained 4 titles, including the Intercontinental Cup in 1984. International career With the Argentina national team he scored one goal against Romania in the 1990 World Cup. Roque Raúl Alfaro (born 15 August 1956 in Nogoyá, Entre Ríos) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a striker. Playing career Alfaro started his professional career with Newell's Old Boys in the mid 1970s. In 1981, he was signed by Panathinaikos FC in Greece, and he played under the greek surname Bistakis. He returned to South America later that year to play for América de Cali in Colombia where he won two league championships. In 1983, he returned to Argentina to play for River Plate, he was part of the championship winning team of 1895-1986 and helped the team to win their first ever Copa Libertadores in 1986.
