Bangladesh–France relations relate to the foreign relationship between Bangladesh and France. History The French first arrived in Bengal during the late 17th century. They maintained trading posts in Dhaka and other cities. In 1757, France sent a contingent of troops to Bengal to fight against the British in the Battle of Plassey. At the invitation of the President of France Emmanuel Macron , the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina is making an official visit to France from 9 November 2021. through this visit,the relationship to a new height. To do that, both Bangladesh and France will have to increase their socioeconomic, defence and political cooperation. The Dassault Rafale (, literally meaning "gust of wind", and "burst of fire" in a more military sense) is a French twin-engine, canard delta wing, multirole fighter aircraft designed and built by Dassault Aviation. The foreign relations share the Bangladeshi government's policies in its external relations with the international community. The country pursues a moderate foreign policy that places heavy reliance on multinational diplomacy, especially at the United Nations and World Trade Organization (WTO). Mahasthangarh
Mahasthangarh ( bn, মহাস্থানগড়, ''Môhasthangôṛ'') is one of the earliest urban archaeological sites so far discovered in Bangladesh. Dipu Moni
Dipu Moni (born 8 December 1965) is a Bangladeshi politician, and has been the Minister of Education of Bangladesh since January 2019 and a Member of Parliament representing the Chandpur-3 constituency. She was Foreign Minister of Bangladesh from 2009 to 2013. She was appointed the first female Foreign Minister on 6 January 2009 after victory for the Awami League-led Grand Alliance on 29 December 2008. Morshed Khan
Morshed Khan (born 8 August 1940) is a Bangladeshi politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh from 2001 until 2006. He served as a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Chittagong-10 constituency in the 6th, 7th and 8th parliaments. Khan was imprisoned in May 2009 in connection with a graft case in which he was sentenced to 13 years. Education Khan completed his Bachelor of Engineering study from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. Career In 1986, Khan was elected the member of Jatiya Sangsad. He was then elected to parliament three more times (February 1996, June 1996, and 2001).
