Aurora Aksnes (; born 15 June 1996), known simply as Aurora (stylized in all capital letters), is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and record producer. Referred to as the "Fairy of Pop", she is a defining figure in contemporary Nordic popular music, Nordic pop, known for her introspective songwriting, ethereal soundscapes, and emotional depth. Aurora first gained recognition as a teenager in Norway, quickly emerging as one of the country's most notable Music of Norway#Pop and rock, pop acts of the 2010s. Stavanger, officially the Stavanger Municipality, is a city and municipalities of Norway, municipality in Norway. It is the third largest city and third largest metropolitan area in Norway (through conurbation with neighboring Sandnes) and the administrative center of Rogaland county. ''Frozen Planet II'' is a 2022 British nature documentary series produced by the BBC Studios Natural History Unit in co-production with The Open University, BBC America, ZDF, France Télévisions, NHK and Migu Video. Early life Growing up in a suburb of Bergen, Lerche was heavily influenced by 1980s pop.
