Apollon Pontou F.C.
Apollon Pontou Football Club ( el, ΠΑΕ Απόλλων Πόντου) is a Greek professional Association football, football club based in Polykastro, Kilkis, Greece. The club currently competes in the Super League Greece 2, Super League 2, the second tier of the Greek football league system. The club took its present name after the renaming of Apollon Kalamarias F.C. to Apollon Pontou (Pontus) in 2017 amid protests from fans. The old club participated under the name until being condenmed and disavowed by the Apollon Kalamarias sports club in 2023, which resulted in the recreation of the original pre–2017 club whilst bearing the original name, starting in the lower divisions of non–league football, whilst Apollon Pontou retained its place in Super League Greece 2. Cyril Kali (born 21 January 1984) is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Panserraikos in the Greek Professional League. Born in France, Kali represented Saint Martin national football team on four occasions.
