2023–24 La Liga
The 2023–24 La Liga, also known as LALIGA EA SPORTS due to sponsorship reasons, is the 93rd season of La Liga, Spain's premier football competition. It commenced on 11 August 2023 and is scheduled to end on 26 May 2024. Barcelona are the defending champions, having won their 27th title the previous season. Teams Promotion and relegation (pre-season) A total of twenty teams contest the league, including seventeen sides from the 2022–23 season and three promoted from the 2022–23 Segunda División. Michael Oliver (referee)
Michael Oliver (born 20 February 1985) is an English professional football referee from Ashington, Northumberland. His county FA is the Northumberland Football Association. He belongs to the Select Group of Referees in England and officiates primarily in the Premier League. He received his FIFA badge in 2012, allowing him to officiate in major international matches. Oliver was appointed to take charge of the final of the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Oliver was promoted to the UEFA Elite Group of Referees in 2018. Daniel Siebert (born 4 May 1984) is a German football referee who is based in Berlin. He referees for FC Nordost Berlin of the Berlin Football Association. He is a FIFA referee, and is ranked as a UEFA elite category referee. Refereeing career Siebert, referee of the club FC Nordost Berlin, has been officiating since 1998. In 2007, he was appointed as a DFB referee. Siebert made his premiere in the 2. Bundesliga in 2009. He was appointed as a Bundesliga referee for the 2012–13 season, and made his first top-flight appearance in the match between Schalke 04 and FC Augsburg on 1 September 2012, issuing three yellow cards. Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena ( ''Boris P’aich’adzis erovnuli st’adioni''), formerly known as Boris Paichadze National Stadium, is a stadium in Tbilisi, Georgia, and the home stadium of Dinamo Tbilisi, Georgia national rugby union team and Georgia national football team. With a capacity of 54,139, the stadium is the largest in Georgia. Daniel Olmo Carvajal (born 7 May 1998) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Bundesliga club RB Leipzig and the Spain national team.
