2023 Sun Belt Conference Football Season
The 2023 Sun Belt Conference football season was the 23rd season of college football play for the Sun Belt Conference (SBC). The season began on August 31, 2023 and ended with its conference championship game on December 2, 2023. It was part of the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The conference consists of 14 member schools split into two divisions. The conference released its full season schedule on February 24, 2023. Previous season During the 2022 Sun Belt Conference football season, Coastal Carolina won the east division, while Troy won the west division. In the conference championship game, Troy defeated Coastal Carolina by a score of 45–26. Troy advanced to the Cure Bowl where they defeated UTSA. William Jason Henderson is an American football linebacker for the Old Dominion Monarchs. Early life Henderson was born in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania and attended Delaware Valley High School. In Henderson's high school career he played on both sides of the ball. On offense he rushed for 1,411 yards and 24 touchdowns, while also hauling in 42 receptions for 740 yards and 11 touchdowns. On defense he notched 529 tackles, 14 sacks, 11 pass deflections, three interceptions, seven fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and two blocked punts. Tim Beck (American Football, Born 1966)
Tim Beck (born March 14, 1966) is an American football coach and former player. He is the offensive coordinator at North Carolina State University, a position he has held since 2020. He will be taking over as the head coach for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers following the completion of the 2022 season. The Liberty Flames football program represents Liberty University, a private Christian university located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in college football. Jamey Chadwell (born January 10, 1977) is an American football coach and former player, who serves as the head coach at Liberty University; he also served as head coach for Costal Carolina and interim HC in the 2017 season while permanent head coach Joe Moglia was on a medical leave. Incarnate Word Cardinals Football
The Incarnate Word Cardinals football program is the intercollegiate American football team for the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) located in San Antonio, Texas. The program began in 2009 and originally competed in NCAA Division II as members of the Lone Star Conference. In 2013, the school moved to Division I.
