2023 Sudirman Cup
The 2023 Sudirman Cup (officially known as the TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2023 for sponsorship reasons) was the 18th edition of the Sudirman Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the mixed national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF), since its inception in 1989. The tournament was played in Suzhou, China, between 14 and 21 May 2023. China were the defending champions. They successfully defended their title, lifting the trophy for a record-extending 13th time. Host city selection New Delhi was awarded the hosting of the championship back in November 2018. In July 2021, it was announced that Suzhou, the original host for 2021 edition, will host this edition instead and India accepted the offer to host 2026 BWF World Championships in exchange. Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre
The Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre () is a sports complex located in the Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu, China. The complex is composed of multiple buildings and stadiums including a stadium, a gymnasium, a natatorium and a business center. The stadium is named Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.
