2023 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Season
The 2023 NCAA Division I women's soccer season will be the 42nd season of National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA championship women's college soccer. The season will begin on August 17, 2023, and conclude in November 2023. It will culminate with the 2023 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament, with the College Cup being held at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. are the defending NCAA Champions. UCLA Bruins Women's Soccer
The UCLA Bruins women's soccer team is an intercollegiate Varsity team, varsity sports team of the University of California, Los Angeles, University of California at Los Angeles. The team is a member of the Pac-12 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The team won its first national championship on December 8, 2013, by defeating Florida State 1–0 in overtime. The Incarnate Word Cardinals, also known as UIW Cardinals, are composed of 23 teams representing the University of the Incarnate Word in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, and track and field. The Eastern Illinois Panthers are the intercollegiate athletic programs of Eastern Illinois University (EIU) located in Charleston, Illinois, United States. Julianne Marie Sitch (born September 18, 1983) is an American former professional soccer defender. She is currently a coach for the Chicago Red Stars and head coach of the University of Chicago men's soccer team. In 2022, she became the first woman in NCAA history to lead a men’s team to a national championship. Jeff Hooker
Jeff Hooker (born March 21, 1965) is a retired U.S. soccer forward who currently coaches the University of Denver women's soccer team. Hooker earned twelve caps, scoring one goal, with the U.S. national team between 1984 and 1987 and was a member of the 1984 U.S. Olympic soccer team. He played professionally in the Western Soccer Alliance and American Professional Soccer League. Playing High school and college Hooker attended Walnut High School in Walnut, California where he played on the school's boys soccer team. He is tied for fifth on the California state high school list for most assists in a season (44 assists in 1982–1983).
