2023 League1 Canada Season
The 2023 League1 Canada season is the second edition of League1 Canada, the 3rd division soccer in Canada. It includes league competitions from its three member leagues, and an inter-provincial championship for select teams from the women's divisions. Men's competitions Provincial leagues Provincial playoffs British Columbia and Ontario use a post-season playoff competition to determine a regional league champion. Quebec however does not have a playoff competition and uses the regular season standings to determine their league champion. League1 Canada
League1 Canada (L1C; french: Ligue1 Canada) is a national soccer competition in Canada which acts as the third tier in the Canadian soccer league system below the Canadian Premier League, consisting of the highest level sanctioned provincial league in three of the provinces of Canada. League1 Canada is contested by clubs from three divisions; these are League1 Ontario, League1 British Columbia, and the Première ligue de soccer du Québec for both the men's and women's divisions. L1C is overseen by Canada Soccer Business, in partnership with participating provincial member federations. Dino Rossi has served as league president since May 2022. Willoughby Community Park Stadium
Willoughby Community Park is soccer stadium located in the Township of Langley, British Columbia, near the Langley Events Centre. In 2023, spectator stands were constructed around the existing turf field for the newly founded Vancouver FC soccer team. It is one of four sports fields in Willoughby Park.
