2020 Meistriliiga
The 2020 Meistriliiga (known as A. Le Coq Premium Liiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 30th season of the Meistriliiga, the top Estonian league for association football clubs. The season began on 6 March 2020, but was suspended after the first round due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league continued on 19 May 2020. The season concluded on 6 December, with the last match between Flora and FCI Levadia cancelled due to COVID-19 cases in both teams. The defending champions Flora successfully defended their title, winning second title in a row and their 13th in total. Teams Ten teams competed in the league, nine sides from the 2019 season and 2019 Esiliiga champions TJK Legion. Legion made their debut in the top tier after consecutive promotions from fourth tier in three seasons. Maardu Linnameeskond were relegated at the end of the 2019 season after finishing in the bottom of the table. The Baltic Cup ( et, Balti turniir, lv, Baltijas kauss, lt, Baltijos taurė) is an international association football, football competition contested by the national teams of the Baltic states – Estonia national football team, Estonia, Latvia national football team, Latvia and Lithuania national football team, Lithuania. Finland national football team, Finland has also participated in the event twice as a guest and so did Iceland national football team, Iceland once. Though originally held annually the competition has been Biennale, biennial since 2008. The 2020 tournament was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic, and took place in 2021. Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium ( hy, Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան Հանրապետական մարզադաշտ) also known as the Republican Stadium ( hy, Հանրապետական մարզադաշտ, translit=Hanrapetakan Marzadasht) is an all-seater multi-use stadium located on 65 Vardanants street, in the Armenian capital Yerevan. Wbeymar Angulo Mosquera ( hy, Վբեյմար Անգուլո Մոսկերա; born 6 March 1992), commonly known as Wbeymar, is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Alashkert, on loan from Ararat-Armenia. Aleksandr Karapetyan ( hy, Ալեքսանդր Կարապետյան; born 23 December 1987) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a forward. Club career Karapetyan began his playing career in the German fourth-tier Regionalliga with Wehen Wiesbaden II, FC Oberneuland, SV 07 Elversberg and FC 08 Homburg. Lithuanian Football Federation
The Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) ( lt, Lietuvos futbolo federacija) is the governing body of football in Lithuania. The Federation is responsible for football development in the country and for the national teams, including the Lithuania national football team. It is based in Vilnius. Kuressaare () is a town on Saaremaa island in Estonia. It is the administrative centre of Saaremaa Parish and the capital of Saare County. Kuressaare is the westernmost town in Estonia. Kuressaare Linnastaadion
Kuressaare linnastaadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuressaare, Estonia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and hosts the matches of FC Kuressaare. The stadiums seated capacity is 2,000. The stadium was renovated in 2014 and a new grandstand is planned to be constructed by 2026.
