Raymond Ramazani Baya (16 June 1943 – 1 January 2019) was a Congolese politician. He served as the foreign minister of that country under the transitional government following his appointment to that post on 23 July 2004, by vice-president Jean-Pierre Bemba, who was allowed to appoint the foreign minister. Biography Ramazani was a long-time member of the regime of President Mobutu, most prominently as Minister of Information and as Ambassador to France. On 23 November 1996, Ramazani was staying in a hotel in Nice, not far from Mobutu's Villa del Mare in Roquebrune Cap-Martin when he was summoned by Mobutu to assist at a meeting with Central African President Ange-Félix Patassé. Vice-President of the Democratic Republic of Congo is a former political position in Congo, which existed between 2003 and 2006 in the country's interim government after the Second Congo War. Abdoulaye Yerodia Ndombasi (; 5 January 1933 – 19 February 2019) was a Congolese politician who served in the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1999 to 2000 and as Vice-President from 2003 to December 2006. Political career As a supporter of President Laurent-Désiré Kabila, he was appointed Director of the Cabinet of the President on 22 December 1997, taking office on 2 January 1998. Subsequently, he was Minister of Foreign Affairs from March 15, 1999, until late 2000. In 2003 he became one of the four vice-presidents of Congo under the transitional government as mandated by a peace settlement with rebel groups and opposition parties. He was nominated to the post in April 2003 by President Joseph Kabila, as the vice-president representing the Kabila government. He served until 2006. In subsequent years he served as a Senator. Pierre Ndaye Mulamba (4 November 1948 – 26 January 2019) was a association football, football midfielder from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly Zaire. Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo (; born 13 June 1963) is a Congolese politician who has been the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 24 January 2019.
