Atakum Olympic Swimming Pool
Atakum Olympic Swimming Pool ( tr, Atakum Olimpik Yüzme Havuzu) is an indoor Olympic-size swimming pool in Atakum district of Samsun province, northern Turkey. The venue is situated in Yenimahalle Maha., Atatürk Boulevard Yanyolu 13, Atakum. It was opened in presence of Minister of Youth and Sports Akif Çağatay Kılıç on October 19, 2015. Built on a land covering , it cost around 20 million (approx. US$ 7.0). The main pool has ten lanes and the warm-up pool six lanes. The facility features also a fitness hall and a spa. It has a seating capacity for 1,000 spectators, including 100 for VIP, 100 for media members, 100 for accredited sportspeople and 100 for physically handicapped people. Bafra Shooting Range, also known as Şehit Mustafa Serin Shooting Range, ( tr, Bafra Atış Poligonu or ''Şehit Mustafa Serin Atış Poligonu'') is an indoor shooting range located in Bafra district of Samsun Province, northern Turkey. It was built for the 2017 Summer Deaflympics. The tender for the construction of the building was announced on November 16, 2016. Atakum
Atakum is a central district in Samsun, Turkey. Its population was 210,082 as of 2020. Atakum is a largely middle class suburban district located to the west of the primary city of Samsun and further suburban Ondokuzmayıs. The city's population expanded rapidly beginning in the 1990s and continues to grow at a healthy pace. The city consists largely of middle class housing blocks with ground floor retail and a mix of office uses. In 2009, the city undertook a significant waterfront redevelopment campaign which entailed the construction of a beachfront and pedestrian promenade. Samsun Golf Club ( tr, Samsun Golf Sahası) is a nine-hole golf course located in the Atakum district of Samsun Province, northern Turkey. It was created for the 2017 Summer Deaflympics. Establishment The golf course is situated in Denizevleri Mah., Adnan Menderes Boulevard 33 in Atakum, Samsun. Most of the area for the golf course, which initially covered , was obtained through filling a part of the seashore by rocks. Bafra Stadium, also known as the New City Stadium of Bafra, ( tr, Bafra Stadyumu or ''Bafra Yeni Şehir Stadyumu'') is a football stadium located in Bafra district of Samsun Province, northern Turkey.
